Jim Haughwout

Jim Haughwout (pronounced “how-it”) is passionate about creating software, Internet and mobile technology products and platforms that let people discover new items of interest, do things they have never been able to do before, overcome "unsolvable" problems, and live and work with greater ease and convenience. A tech versatilist, he has led R&D, Product, Architecture, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Professional Services, Operations, and Marketing and Development in both Early Stage and Fortune-500 firms. Through these experiences, Jim has created over two dozen applications, products and services that have helped companies leapfrog the competition and have won awards in: Advertising, Publishing, Media, Retail, eCommerce, CRM, Social Media, Defense and Life Sciences.

His favorite ways to relax are travel (he only recently finally gave up his old film SLR after bringing it all over the world) and cooking (various attempts to combine the influences of Alton Brown, Tom Colicchio, and Isa Chandra Moskowitz).
