Jim Haughwout (pronounced "how-it") is passionate about creating technology that let people discover new items of interest, do things they have never been able to do before and overcome "unsolvable" problems. He is equally comfortable developing new technology as he is figuring out ways to help people use it with greater ease. Currently VP, Builder Experience at Amazon, his work has been featured by Fast Company, the Changelog, Network World, ZDNet, the IBM Press, CIO Magazine, the New Stack, the MIT Enterprise Forum, and more.

His favorite ways to relax are travel, photography, art, exercise and cooking (various attempts to combine the influences of Alton Brown, Tom Colicchio, Yotam Ottolenghi, and Isa Chandra Moskowitz).
