I am originally from Arkansas. I grew up in a small town in the northeast corner of the state. Newport.
My love of Flowers began as a child. It began with "dumpster diving" - raid the local flower shop dumpster to see what "treasures " I could find.
10th Grade, 1980 - delivery driver for Hummingbird florist, which a classmates father owned. Began to learn the basics of Design
1983 - moved to a college town,Jonesboro, Arkansas and got a job at St.Pierre's Flowers and Gifts. St. P's was owned by a husband and wife team who taught me ALOT about, floral design.
In 1988 - moved to Atlanta- worked with Glorious Events
1990 : opened Flowers and Moore with a friend
1998, dissolved partnership & friendship
( do not go into business with family or friends)
1998 moved to Knoxville Tenn.
2000- came back to ATL, feelance design for shops
2005 moved to Lawrenceville Ga, went into my own venture. And here we are Today....and the journey continues
