I'm tired of the old divisions in music. There's just great music and banal music. My newest venture is Trio Pardalote - a string trio performing old masterworks alongside new compositions. I play viola in a variety of chamber ensembles, am Concertmaster of Scrape - an original music improvising string orchestra featuring the music of jazz great Jim Knapp, and am Principal Viola with the Northwest Sinfonietta. I am devoted to the idea of lots and lots of great, vibrant local music scenes. Seattle is my adopted home town.
