Heather Cruise

Heather Cruise is a host, producer, personality, writer, photographer and
reporter. You name it, and she's is doing it! Heather is a seasoned professional in the entertainment broadcast business.

Heather can currently be seen and heard as the midday personality for Fort Wayne's Number One Country Station, WQHK 105.1 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In addition to her radio show, Heather is frequently out in the community hosting events ranging from county fairs to fashion shows. She also used her video skills to build the video portion of her station's website from the ground up.

With a love for both pop culture and country music Heather founded Country Crossover, a web series and blog dedicated to blurring the lines between the two. Through this platform Heather has interviewed dozens of country stars with her First Look series including Luke Bryan and Hunter Hayes. She continues to maintain this brand at countrycrossover.com.

The entertainment industry has kept Heather busy over the years through schooling, internships, and freelance jobs. Heather's first major break came in college as a morning show co-host for a Top 40 radio station. From there Heather co-hosted the University of Florida's only entertainment radio show, Eye on Entertainment in the afternoon while doing live television entertainment reports on WUFT-TV in the evenings.

Heather also took three internships including Larry King Live at CNN and Lopez Tonight with Warner Brothers, both in Los Angeles. This is where Heather's love for entertainment news blossomed.

After graduating with a Broadcast Journalism degree from the esteemed College of Journalism from the University of Florida, Heather took her skills to Fort Wayne, Indiana where she currently resides. In the past year she has been back and forth between Fort Wayne, Nashville, and Los Angeles enhancing her skill set by studying under hosting guru, Marki Costello and television host, Leo Quinones.

Heather Cruise has always enjoyed her work, even before her career choice became "work." Her mother has tapes (yes, VHS) of her reporting "live" weather from the bedroom, traffic from the backyard, and news from the
living room. Her pets even played along as stand in celebrities.
