Hello! I'm an Environmental Science major at City College of San Francisco. Starting in the spring of 2015 I'll be working with other students at San Francisco's EcoCenter at Heron's Head Park. I am very excited to learn more about sustainable practices, and aspire to be a valuable contributor to the team there.

I am planning on transferring to UC Berkeley to continue my major in Environmental Science, possibly minoring in either Forestry or Conservation. Ultimately I would like to become a Forest Ranger, and also to work in increasing public awareness of environmental issues and stewardship.

I currently work as a barista for Blue Bottle Coffee at their Mint Plaza location. I feel fortunate to work for a company and with such a great group of people and an amazing product! When I'm not brewing up siphons or reading about native plant species, I like to make things.

I enjoy charcoal drawing, scultping, sewing, cooking, and baking. I have a goal for 2015 to make a perfect batch of vanilla bean macarons! And perhaps even more than creating, I like to learn.

History will always be my favorite subject, although I am also interested in astronomy, philosophy and anthropology as well.
