I am a poet living in a world where poetry probably should have died, but didn't. The internet has helped a whole lot with its resurgence- just look at #micropoetry and #twaiku on Twitter. In September 2011, my second poetry collection 'Leap' reached #2 in Top Paid Poetry Books in itunes. My first collection, 'Where the Butterflies Go,' wasn't far behind at its high of #16, and later, in December, it reached #5 in Canada . That was pretty cool for this kid from Kanata, Ontario, Canada. Both books remain under 'What's Hot' in poetry in itunes in Canada and the U.S.

My first collection of funny children's poems, 'The Groovy Granny,' has been reviewed as 'priceless' and 'destined to become a family heirloom' (May 2011) -look for it as an epub for the iPad/iphone and in softcover and hardcover at http://www.Blurb.com. It's now on the Kindle and Nook, Kobo and iBooks, too!

My third collection of poems, 'Carry On Dancing,' was published by Winter Goose Publishing in March 2012. It hit  No. 1 in Bestselling Poetry on Amazon.ca in April 2012 and stayed in the top 10 for a number of weeks. It's  available on Amazon and Nook Books, as are my other books.

In my free time, I love to hang out with my hubby and daughter, take photos, scrapbook, cartoon, inline skate, dance like nobody’s watching, and eat Swedish Berries — usually (but not always) not at the same time.
