Heather Lang

I was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. I am the child of a minister, a banker and two radio personalities, all in two people! I graduated from Mauldin High School in the spring of 2006 and began taking classes at North Greenville University in Tigerville, South Carolina in the Summer of 2006.

While at North Greenville I studied Studio Art Concentrating on Photography and Graphic Design.

As I studied I created hlphotographix in 2007 while developing my skills for photography. I began with headshots of some of my theater friends and via word of mouth i began being hired for jobs.

I presented my senior thesis using 35mm traditional devlopment. I spent most of my time in a traditional dark room creating and mastering my images.

I graduated in 2010 and got married the same year. I began working in a local small business in the art world. Soon however, I realized the dreams of my youth and the requirements of my adulthood did not fully align.

I began working at BB&T in June of 2011. I sat in my first training class completely befuddled as to how I got here. I knew nothing of Loan Servicing and yet that was where I was placed. I quickly became friends with my post it tabs and highlighters.

I worked in the Retail Loan Fulfillment Center in Greer, SC for a little over a year. Truth be told, I would still be there to this day had my husband and I not had to move for him to get his Masters of Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. So In August of 2012 we packed up all of our stuff and hit the road.

I joined the Retail Client Support team in Wilson, NC in September of 2012. To say the very least, it has grown my knowledge base in completely new ways.

I still do photography and love capturing images for families, brides, couples, etc. However, BB&T has grown me and shaped me into a true professional and allowed me to see beyond the limits I had set for myself.
