What happens when an outdoorsy small town girl tries to find her way? In the case of Heather Luckhart, she picks a city at random after finishing college and lands in Oshawa, ON. Since calling Oshawa home in 2004, Heather Luckhart has been developing her musical soul. With guidance from the late Glen Bensley for several years as they performed as duo, "The Hokum Runners", her roots inspired spirit took flight. Now she continues without Glen, who passed away suddenly in 2008. Knowing the muddy truth that the blues can bring, Heather Luckhart uses her diversities and digs into the the human experience. She now finds herself performing with a variety of jazz, blues, roots and folk musicians. Seeing parts of Canada and the US by means of her unique and soulful story telling style, Heather Luckhart shows no signs of slowing. In fact, she is currently in the process of recording a roots based album. Things are sure to get even hotter for this go getter when this pressing hits the airways. In addition to her music, Heather is a Reiki Therapist, with her home practice in Oshawa, ON. Having completed her Level 2 Reiki, she has put her Business Entrepreneurship Diploma to work in her ever growing life. Miss Heather is also thrilled to be Blushing June Bride in 2012. Her Hubby-To-Be, Troy Williams, is an accomplished recording engineer at Studio Phoenix and a wildly talented, experienced musician. A match that has their fans all aglow.
