A veteran medical professional and ultrasound specialist, physician Dr. Heather Tassone brings more than a decade of experience to her current position as an assistant professor of medicine at the Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. In addition to her professorial role, Dr. Tassone also serves as the director of emergency ultrasound and as an attending physician of emergency medicine. In her leadership role with the medical center, Dr. Heather Tassone oversees several duties, including supervising the clinical education of residents and ensuring the quality of ultrasounds performed.

Dr. Tassone earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the State University of New York, Binghamton, before going on to complete her DO at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Her postgraduate training includes a residency in emergency medicine at Jacoby and Montefiore Medical Centers and an ultrasound fellowship at the Carolinas Medical Center.
