At Pearson, I valued, introduced, trained and developed forms of modernization, technology and digitization into the work life as well as supported senior executives and staff. I am sociable and imaginative – not only thinking outside the box, but out of the building! When managing, I like to involve others, discuss alternatives, and organize for action. I expect from management what I expect from myself as a manager, specific expectations and objectives. I have a can-do attitude and get the job done by taking initiative, overcoming problems, make necessary changes and take a strong stand toward the objective. Taking responsibility, I stand behind what I do and the results regardless of the outcome. I am a natural leader, crisis manager and go-to person, preferring to maintain order and effectiveness. I am motivated by action-oriented protocols or systems. In making decisions, I value my many years of personal experience in and around varying secular environments. I work best under pressure when the situation warrants by keeping control and again leaning on experience getting measurable results and outcomes.
