Helen Holter is a storyteller at heart, embracing ever-changing methods and means to connect with viewers (TV/online news), consumers (commercial and health), and those in need (global health).

Her broadcasting experience includes local and network TV news affiliates in Seattle, Russia, and Uzbekistan, as well as her Global Health Channel.

Helen helps news, commercial, and health organizations achieve their goals by creating and overseeing content and content strategy for all media platforms, including reporting, and producing, blogging and writing, She also manages creative teams, working in both proprietary and consumer CMSs.

ADDING VALUE: Recent studies in social media marketing, global health, microbiology, statistics, and infectious diseases help Helen better understand and communicate complex issues sand solutions in medicine, health, and global health.

AWARDS include individual and team Emmys, Society of Professional Journalists, and the Alerdinck Foundation (Netherlands) to report in Russian for Soviet TV. Helen was an invited speaker at an international conference on new media in Moscow, Russia, and named top presenter at that gathering.

In June 2013, Helen was bestowed the Ripon College Distinguished Alumni Award from her beloved alma mater in Wisconsin.

EDUCATION: Helen earned an M.A. in Slavic Linguistics & Languages (Russian, Serbo-Croatian) from Indiana University-Bloomington, a B.A. from Ripon College (Wisconsin) in Russian Language/Soviet Studies and a B.A. in Communications-Broadcast Journalism from the University of Washingotn-Seattle, with additional education in Russia, Croatia, and Turkey.
