Helen Walters

Hello. I am a New York City-based writer and editor. I'm the editorial director at TED, where among other things I work on ideas.ted.com, a magazine site that tracks the weaving progress of ideas as they move from concept to reality (or not). In a previous life, I was the editor of innovation and design at Bloomberg Businessweek; before that, I was the features editor at Creative Review magazine in my native England. I've written a number of books, including "Ten Types of Innovation," with Larry Keeley, as well as a series of design-related titles. I really like jangly indie music from a certain era, and potatoes. Potatoes are delicious.
