Henry Woo

Henry Woo is a urological surgeon subspecialising in prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). He is especially passionate about patient care, teaching and leading by example.

He is an academic at the Sydney Adventist Hospital Clinical School of the University of Sydney. He has a frantically busy practice in prostate surgery, performing open & robotic assisted radical prostatectomies and the full range of surgical treatments for male lower urinary tract symptoms.

He is the Editor in Chief of BJUI Knowledge, an innovative e-learning platform of the prestigious BJU International Charity based in London.

He is a Board Director of the Australian and New Zealand Uro-genital & Prostate (ANZUP) Cancer Trials Group as well as the Australian Urological Foundation (AUF). He is the coordinator of the International Urology Journal Club on Twitter (#urojc).

He has published >110 manuscripts in peer reviewed journals and several book chapters. He is on the editorial board of the journals Prostate Cancer Prostatic Diseases, Prostate International and World Journal of Clinical Urology, World Journal of Men's Health. He constantly reviews manuscripts for the high ranking urological journals. He serves on the Committee of the Asia Pacific Prostate Society.
