I pray that you will all keep my family in your minds and prayer. Last month, on July 8th, my husband and son were walking home from the store. They were hit by an oncoming car moving entirely too fast. Raphael (my husband) was badly injured over 90% of his right side including an amputated right leg below the knee, a severely broken pelvis and a bad shoulder break. Our son Ishaq was killed at the scene. As I write this, Raphael has dealt with multiple surgeries but has progressed enough to come home (Aug 25).
