Himmat Gill MD

Himmat S. Gill, MD, FACR, directs an outpatient clinic for patients with issues relating to rheumatology in Fresno, California. He earned his MD and completed his medical residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Himmat Gill makes use of his education and experience to run the office in its entirety, supervising and managing the office manager, billing staff, and medical assistants. Dr. Gill also works directly with patients, treating them and following up with them in the clinic as well as the hospital. Dr. Gill diagnoses and treats lupus, gout, arthritis, fibromyalgia, musculoskeletal disorders, rheumatoid arthritis, and various autoimmune diseases. He also runs the office's infusion center, where intravenous medication is administered.

Over his four years at his current practice, Himmat S. Gill's office has garnered many new patients due to a convenient northeast Fresno location, friendly staff, and, most importantly, his award-winning care. In October 2009, Fresno Magazine named him "Best Rheumatologist." He continues to conduct research in the fields of immunology and rheumatology and has had his research published in renowned peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Gill takes pride in using his advanced medical training to help his clients. He has said: "I love my profession and treat every patient as if they were my own family." In addition to working with his patients, he also provides rheumatologic services to patients of Adventist Rural Health Clinic in Sangher, California.

When he is not working, Himmat Gill enjoys listening to music, traveling, skiing, reading, swimming, and playing football. He also spends time with his family, including his wife, who is also a physician, and his two children. Dr. Gill also gives back to his community through volunteering with and donating to various charity organizations, including local temples, food banks, and churches.
