Homam Alghorani is a co-founder and CEO of Carbon Balance Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based climate tech startup that empowers online businesses to measure, reduce, and offset their ecommerce carbon footprint. With over 15 years of experience in developing and launching technology products and startups, he is a passionate technopreneur, sustainability leader, and fintech expert.

Homam's mission is to create positive impact and social change through innovation and entrepreneurship. He is currently developing a range of plugins, apps, and assessment tools for various ecommerce enablers, along with sustainability scoring solutions. Previously, he was a senior full stack developer at UI.SYS Pte. Ltd., where he worked on a portable credit score for the underbanked and unbanked population of Southeast Asia. He also participated in the Antler and Entrepreneur First programs as an entrepreneur in residence.

Homam has received multiple awards and recognition for his work, including the ITEX2009 Gold Award and Special Award for Corporate Invention, the NTT Com Startup Challenge Finalist, and the MIA 70 Rising Personalities on LinkedIn in Malaysia. He holds a BSc in Computing from Staffordshire University and is pursuing a Master's degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi. He is fluent in English, and Arabic.
