I am a 20 year old English Literature student at the University of Southampton. I intern for @HopelessUK which is an alternative music label, with bands such as; Yellowcard, The Dangerous Summer, The Wonder Years and We Are The In Crowd on our roster. I read a lot - which is to be expected of an English student. I dable from time to time in learning the ukelele, no huge successes on that front yet, but I'm trying. I have a huge love for books by Nick Honrby andMagaret Atwood which makes me a pretty terrible English student. I breath music - not an exageration; particular favourites would be: Something Corporate, Brand New and Jimmy Eat World with a huge love of old 60s music like James Taylor and Van Morrisson. At the moment I'm very into the nu-folk scene; Laura Marling, Frank Turner, Fleet Foxes and Frightened Rabbit, to name but a few. I really do love books - but I'm starting to think what I like most is quotes, so I frequently find little passages and fall in love with them. Oh, I'm a big lefty really - my political stance at it's most extreme stems from liberating women from patriachal oppression, to y'know, dispersing the wealth equally and fairly. Corr, I sound right pretentious. I'm not really - not all that pretentious any how.
