Howard McKibbon

Having dedicated his professional life to the pharmaceutical industry, Howard McKibbon contributes his expertise to Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation. Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, he serves as vice president of marketing and access solutions for this subsidiary of Valeant Pharmaceuticals International. In this position, he holds responsibility over the marketing for 25 products. Before accepting his current role, Howard McKibbon performed as executive director of North America marketing and access solutions for the firm.
Prior to joining Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation, McKibbon spent several years with Cephalon Pharmaceuticals. Initially its senior product manager for managed market sales and marketing, he also functioned as senior product manager for CNS marketing and as product director for its CNS franchise. During this period, Howard McKibbon developed brand strategies ranging from one to 10 years for a variety of products.
To prepare for his career, Howard McKibbon attended the University of South Florida and earned a bachelor of arts in history. He garnered a master of business administration from Mercer University’s Stetson School of Business & Economics. Remaining with the institution, he acquired a doctor of philosophy in pharmacy from its Southern School of Pharmacy.
