Howard Sosna

An experienced dental professional, Howard Sosna, DDS, currently owns and operates a private practice in Newton, New Jersey. The practice is fully equipped to offer patients services such as wisdom tooth surgery, tissue grafting, treatment of dry sockets, major and minor bone grafting, tumor removal, dental implants, and emergency surgery. In addition to seeing patients at his practice, Dr. Howard Sosna serves on staff at Newton Memorial Hospital and Saint Clare's Hospital, Sussex.

Howard Sosna, DDS, completed his undergraduate studies at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where he also started on the football team for two years. He went on to enroll at the Howard University College of Dentistry, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery and finished in the top ten of his graduating class. Dr. Sosna then completed an oral surgery residency with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Dr. Howard Sosna maintains affiliations with a variety of professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), the New Jersey Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Federation of Dental Anesthesiology Societies (IFDAS), and the American Society of Temporomandibular Joint Surgeons.

When not fulfilling his professional responsibilities, Dr. Sosna pursues hobbies including photography and golf. He enjoys playing golf competitively and has participated in tournaments for the New Jersey Cancer Society. In addition, he owns and invents for an audio equipment company called Kubala-Sosna Research, LLC, which designs and markets high-quality speaker cables, power cords, and other equipment.
