I write and speak and do prayer ministry and small groups. I'm interested in everything to do with making disciples – connecting, growing, releasing and encouraging. I've done that in churches with different dynamics and have experience of many streams and expressions. I don't like labels but Word and Spirit would be a fair one.
For fun I like cycling and running and going on walks. I play bass guitar (owning a rare five-string neck-through Watts) and I'm keen on heritage and architecture and classic cars and motorcycles and everything Apple Mac and I bake artisan bread.
I've been married to Alison for 35 years, and we have two daughters, a hospital doctor and a womenswear fashion designer, and a son who is teaching maths and keenly interested in politics.
