Ibrahim Azeez
Project Manager and data analyst in Lagos, Nigeria.
I'm Ibrahim Adekunle Azeez, the 4th child in a family of 7. My favorite childhood memory has to be when I was curious as to why we don't add sugar to rice, I did and it tasted so bad that I couldn't eat it LOL - A lesson in curiosity!
Currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) to add to my previous National Diploma (Mathematics and Statistics) and Higher National Diploma (Statistics) from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, and in the future a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a highly reputable institution of learning.
My strengths include self-awareness and a commitment to learning and growth. I've been working on overcoming my weakness of being unable to say “NO” and my introverted nature in new social settings.
My career kicked off after NYSC with Plus Marketing, where my dedication led to a promotion to Senior Project Executive in the parent company, Octoplus Marketing. I was then transferred to the Senegal branch.
Throughout my career, I have gained experience in various areas such, as data analysis, project management, and sales operations. This has allowed me to achieve success across industries.
Recently I held the position of Senior Project Executive at Octoplus Marketing in Dakar, Senegal. In this role, I led experiential activation projects for well-known FMCG brands.
In addition, my responsibilities also involved overseeing the field sales team's day-to-day operations which encompassed tasks such as sales planning, territory allocation, team recruitment, and budget management. It was crucial for our team to consistently meet and exceed our targets.
With my extensive experience in data-driven decision-making and project management, I am well-equipped to drive growth and deliver value to any organization.
Success is my destination, and I'm on a unique journey to get there.
