Ibrahim is a social media and communications professional working in the higher education and charity sectors.

As a Social Media Coordinator at the University of Cambridge, Ibrahim is actively involved in the everyday planning, publishing, high volume comment moderation, and analysis of organic and paid content on their social media channels.

He also volunteers as the Director of Communications for the Karim Foundation, a Cambridge-based charity that aims to relieve poverty by providing local emergency support for those in financial hardship.

Ibrahim has a wealth of experience across broadcast media and public relations. He was a production journalist at ITV Anglia, tasked with leading their diversity initiative for the East of England, and was a production assistant for ITV News at the 2017 Wimbledon Championships. During 2019-20, he was the Social Media Officer of Cambridge Central Mosque – Europe’s first eco-mosque.

Ibrahim retains a strong interest in subjects ranging from community development to youth engagement. He also enjoys watching football, cricket and tennis.
