Before that I spent a decade at CNET, covering Microsoft, Apple and other tech stuff. Also a former vice president of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association and current chair of its Transgender and Allies Task Force.

I'm a huge fan of softball, technology, photography and Stanford women's hoops.
