Angela Sealana

The Catholic media geek you've never heard of

As a kid, I used to 'play' church and school (among other things). Today, I manage media for The Pilgrim Center of Hope, a Catholic evangelization ministry in San Antonio, Texas—my beloved hometown.

At work, I'm the digital media geek. I've studied and utilized media for ministerial purposes—serving lay ministries, religious orders, and parishes—since 2005. My favorite story? I designed album art for a Catholic Austrian punk rock band's debut CD.

After he read my senior college thesis, my buddy Brandon Vogt got inspired and 'wrote the book' on The Church and New Media, and now I'm in the acknowledgements section. (Wow!)

I look forward to playing school with the super-Catholic babies that my husband Dan and I will, God willing, raise someday.

P.S. I was formerly known as Angela Santana.
