Kumusta?

I am Iona, a Filipina-Canadian social entrepreneur, sustainable coffee advocate, and community builder.

I am the Founder of Kapé Philippine Coffee, a social enterprise promoting ethically sourced coffee from Philippine Indigenous women coffee farmers. More than contributing to livelihoods in my homeland, Kapé hopes to spark conversations on immigration, heritage, and identity.

I believe in the power of meaningful, purpose-led work; this is why I keep both a full-time job as Program Lead at the Immigrant Employment Council of BC and a full-time social venture.

A recovering caffeine-dependent human who used to drink 6 cups of coffee a day, I have also started discovering the magic of herbal tea and occasional decaf espressos.

Be in touch - I'd love to hear your story.
