Kent Irwin

Kent is co-founder of eFinPLAN, an online tool that helps anyone do their own financial planning. Helping people reach their goals, simply and in an educational informative way.

Before founding eFinPLAN in 2007, with his wife Laura, Kent was a fee-only financial planner, and an executive in Advanced Markets at Nationwide Financial, specializing in large case design, software and product development.
Most planning firms focus on the top 5% wealthiest and are priced out of reach of most people, yet Kent and Laura reached their goal of making financial planning accessible to anyone. The first company to bring an online financial planning app to the masses.

Kent has earned the professional designations of Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). He has taught investment and insurance courses at Hondros College, and authored one of their text books. Kent also is a financial director at Vineyard Columbus, providing financial classes and financial counseling. 30+ years in financial services and learning new things everyday- its always fun and exciting!
