BRYAN KAPLAN
Bryan Kaplan was born in New Jersey, and began his career as a hockey player. He started training with long time mentor, well respected Penny Templeton; Later graduated from the British American Drama Academy performing in leading roles on a wide variety of theatre, television and film projects. Early on in his career, Kaplan has received rave reviews, and critical acclaim for his role as "Ross" in the London production of "Knuckleball" by William Whitehurst. His most recent theatre credits include: Eightythree Down by Stephen J. Brantley nominated for five NYIT Awards in 2012, and his success continued, as he was nominated for the Robert Pastorelli "Rising Star" Award for his role in "Fray" and won "Outstanding Lead Actor (Best Actor)" at the Brooklyn Film Festival. This year, Kaplan is slated for more starring roles in films including Sucker, Soundproof, Soylent with Julie McNiven, Cold Feet with Carolyn Stotesbery and Calling John with Christy Lee Hughes. Kaplan is also working on a one-man show of Hamlet, being directed by Julia Stubbs Hughes, in London 2013. Kaplan has done several staged readings at The New Group (NY), The Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre (NY) Kaplan is a resident actor of Second Skin Theatre Company in London.
