Jack A Noriega

Downey, California, resident Jack A. Noriega is an experienced hospitality and customer service professional with extensive training. He started his lodging career at the Anaheim Hilton Hotel. From 1984 to 1991, Jack A. Noriega served in various capacities for the 1,500-room hotel. He began in the Purchasing department and collaborated extensively with the Food and Beverage group, ultimately serving as Storeroom Supervisor. He next joined the Finance department, where he contributed as an Accounts Payable Clerk and Inventory Control, as well as Valet Cashier Manager.

Subsequently, Jack A. Noriega earned a promotion to join the Hilton Long Beach & Executive Meeting Center, part of Hilton Worldwide. From 1991 through 1995, Mr. Noriega served as Paymaster for the hotel, working closely with a payroll system for 350 employees. He also managed inventories and worked closely with the Food and Beverage team on food costs. In 1993, he was named Employee of the Year for his efforts. Two years later, he received a promotion to Purchasing Manager for the hotel. In this position, Mr. Noriega supervised all aspects of inventory control and purchasing, including merchandise, food and beverage, and maintenance supplies.

He then became Director of Purchasing for Shutters on the Beach and Hotel Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica, which allowed him to understand the hospitality luxury market better. Next, Jack A. Noriega shifted his focus slightly and began working for BuyEfficient LLC, an online procurement solution for the hospitality industry. He started as a Trainer and Project Manager for the company, where he held responsibility for setting up new accounts and conducting on-site training sessions and performance reviews. In 2006, Jack A. Noriega moved to become Customer Support Manager for BuyEfficient. In this, his most recent position, he managed the customer support team, training and mentoring new staff members to troubleshoot hotel purchasing and the hospitality industry, as well as coordinating vendor rollouts nationwide.

In addition to his job experience, Jack A. Noriega has completed various courses of industry education, including Hilton’s Supervisory Development Program, Time Management Program, and Frontline Leadership training, as well as a Training Management Program from Zenger–Miller Inc.
