I was born in Ghana, West Africa and lived there for the first 14 years of my life. I currently live in Shrewsbury, MA. Some of my favorite hobbies include basketball, hiking and cooking. I am a huge sports fan and root for all Boston teams. #BostonStrong.

I am a junior in the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst majoring in finance. I aim to understand and succeed in the today’s fascinating and complex financial world. I am interested in actuarial science as well and hope to learn more and gain experience in the field.

Growing up, I always heard the phrase “charity begins at home” from my mother and teachers. Today, I am happy to thank my parents for instilling respect and disciplining the rambunctious boy I was. I highly value respect and fortunately, I have been favored and benefited from giving others my respect.

I am passionate about many things, but working respectfully and efficiently with a team to accomplish an objective just takes the cake for me. The feeling of success alone is satisfying but the feeling is amplified when shared with a team or group. Businesses and business projects require people to collaborate in teams to reach set goals and I believe respect sets the tone and determines whether the project goes smoothly or not.
