Looking at things from too many angles will cause you to trip and fall, but too few and you might not ever wake up to life. I have fallen down a lot and I'm waking up more and more everyday, at least that's my goal. I like how Nelson Mandela put it, "The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall." To butcher it, I see it as a bit of a two steps forward, one step back routine.

I teach English in Japan and love it! In addition to this, I have been working professionally as a graphic designer for the last 8 years. The social aspect of teaching makes my day, that and seeing peoples faces when they 'get it'. My artistic side and perfectionism steer me more towards design, which I do love. llustrating my random thoughts and meandering through the shrines and temples of Kyoto have become my sacred space, allowing time to fall away. Check out some of the random, visit my site and see some design work and illustration. Peace – J
