Prior, I was an Investment Professional at Shasta Ventures. Before that, I launched and led the Microsoft BizSpark program in the US. Early on, I was the first "business guy" at VentureBeat.com, and the co-founder and CEO of a startup that manufactured and sold dietary supplement products from South Africa. I’m the co-founder and Chairman of the Beverly Mullins Memorial Scholarship which offers financial assistance to single-parent undergraduate students of non-traditional age attending UC Berkeley.

I travel as often as possible, work to keep up with my French, have a mean country streak about me, and enjoy great food, friends, and cocktails - or wine.
