Previously living out of state (in FL, NY and PA) as an electrical designer, as of 2010, Jay moved back to his hometown of Detroit and has been committed to pursuing ways to effectively impact urban communities. Duties as a mentor, a mentee, and a proud Detroiter has impacted him considerably. Recipient of the City of Detroit Award at a young age, volunteered in various community projects and even invited to the White House to discuss Youth Civic Engagement, he's about ACTION and less TALK.
As Jay grows, he looks forward to connecting and being a connector through the RepYourCity brand and empowering those around him and to redefine what it TRULY means to Represent Your City!
