My experience in the health field began long before I started my massage career ten years ago. My mother, a nurse, believed deeply in health and wellness and she instilled in me the importance in caring for myself, and being diagnosed at a young age with Epilepsy only strengthened that importance. This passion for healthy living has always pushed me to want to learn more and know why health related things happen to not just me but to others as well. Over ten years ago while living in mid-coast Maine teaching fitness classes and trying to figure out how to build upon my career I had the opportunity to attend massage school. With this choice my career goals and life goals finally started to align.

Right after graduation I had the opportunity to work in a chiropractic office treating clients with chronic pain. This is where I found my love of treatment work and Trigger Point Therapy. Over the years my career gave me the chance to work in many different settings such as clinics, spas, resorts and hotels. All of which have provided me opportunities learn new modalities and techniques.

In 2011 while living in Oregon I went to back to school and earned my Bachelors of Science in Community Health Education with my focus being on the healthcare system. I wanted to build upon my personal knowledge and find a way to educate others about healthcare and wellness. During this time I continued with my massage career but also began giving lectures and training's on the changing health care system to various groups and nonprofits that helped individuals with Neurological Issues. After graduation I accepted a job for a health service agency in Austin, Texas.

In 2014 I moved from the Pacific Northwest and left massage to begin a new career in Texas in the health Service field. It didn’t take long to realize that sitting in front of a computer 8-10 hours a day wasn’t right for me. Not long after I had to make changes health wise that was related to my Epilepsy. Thus began a new journey using the Ketogenic Diet to heal myself.

Today I have a practice focusing on whole body care. I offer wellness education and massage therapy teaching and sharing my experiences and knowledge. Working with clients with various issues from chronic pain, running injuries, and individuals just looking to unwind and make changes to better their lives.
