I was born and raised in Guwahati, India. When I turned 16, I left Guwahati for Delhi where I studied at the Delhi Public School, Faridabad. In 2007, when I was 18 years old I came to study in Princeton. I decided to major in economics after switching majors three times. They say you find yourself in college, and I truly did. Late in my Princeton career I discovered my passion for religion -- I took a number of courses in the Religion department, and became leaders in the interfaith as well as Hindu community. Among my major accomplishments there, I count organizing "Performing the Sacred," a symposium of performing arts in my junior year, and a national-level interfaith conference in my senior year. I graduated from Princeton in 2011, and I am now humbled and blessed to be working as an Assistant Religion Editor at The Huffington Post. You can read my articles here

I enjoy traveling, reading and photography.
