Jaime Eduardo Alemán Healy is a Panamanian lawyer, businessman and diplomat who joined Alemán, Cordero, Galindo & Lee as a founding partner in 1985. His practice focuses on trust services, estate planning and corporate mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Alemán served as legal advisor to the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington and as special advisor to Dr. Nicolás Barletta, former president of Panama. He was also Minister of Government and Justice in 1988 and Panamanian Ambassador to the United States from 2009 to 2011.

He is currently a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Panama Bar Association, the International Tax Planning Association and the International Fiscal Association. He also serves on the boards of directors of Banistmo, PKB Bank (Panama) and Travelex (Panama) SA and on the board of visitors of Duke University School of Law.
