Jaime Escobedo

Commanding more than a decade of professional experience across the security sector, Jaime Escobedo currently directs a number of successful companies. As CEO and President of American Surveillance Company, Inc., he presides over a Brownsville, Texas-based business specializing in an array of advanced security resources. Supporting a full complement of electronic security and surveillance products and services, Jaime Escobedo’s company supplies perimeter intrusion detection, video and surveillance, access control, and security alarm systems, as well as wireless surveillance, 24-hour video monitoring, and video analytics. The company also provides both armed and unarmed guard services, background checks, and a variety of training courses that include concealed handgun classes.

Jaime Escobedo holds a BBA with a focus on international business from Northwood University, in Texas. He graduated in 1997 and founded American Surveillance Co. two years later. In addition to his work with the security company, Mr. Escobedo serves as President and CEO of both Valley American Contractors and American Firing Range, a popular indoor shooting range located in South Texas.

In addition to running three successful businesses, Jaime Escobedo believes strongly in giving back to his community. To that end, he sponsors activities for various local schools and community events, and he regularly donates Thanksgiving and other holiday meals as well as Christmas gifts for underserved children. Additionally, Mr. Escobedo serves as a mentor and role model for children and frequently hosts fairs promoting safety and awareness in the community.
