Jake Belder

Jake lives in Hull in the northeast of England and serves as the community action minister at St John's Church, Newland, where he has oversight of the church's work in the community. He also shares in some of the preaching and pastoral responsibilities. He is originally from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Jake blogs regularly on ministry and theology from the perspective of an Anglican whose thinking has been shaped in significant ways by the Reformational tradition. In his spare time, he mostly reads and drinks coffee. People are often surprised to discover that he is an avid automotive enthusiast, and happy to spend an afternoon working on a car or watching racing. He is married to Robin, and has two children.
