Grew up, controller in hand, always amazed by every new video game I managed to buy with my report card money. When at a keyboard, my fingers automatically seek out the WSAD keys with my thumb on the space bar. Over the years, I have developed a particular affinity for RPG, FPS, and RTS games.

Graduated from Parkland Community College in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois with an associates in science. Worked on the college paper, the Prospectus News, as a staff writer and video game columnist. In my time there, I was able to interview a Bungie employee when he showed up for an engineering conference at a near-by university and also interview people from Volition, Champaign's neighborhood triple-A game developer.

Currently pursuing a bachelors in journalism at the University of Missouri with an emphasis in emerging media and a minor in English. Trying to get as much game-related material into my journalism classwork as possible. After setting up a blog for one of my courses, I did successfully transform a blog post idea into an article over at GamingDaily.co.uk that I'm quite proud of.

Employed as an IT assistant at the School of Medicine and University hospital. Moonlighting as a bartender or server of food stuffs on rare occassions.

Frequent karaoke'ier.

Future goals include, but are not limited to:

  • Riding my motorcycle to all 48 continental states with my father.
  • Traveling or moving to Europe, specifically somewhere in the U.K.
  • Making a career out of writing about video games. To some, this may seem like an unobtainable goal. To me, it'd be doing what I love most, and I'll make it happen. I'll bet my bottom gil on it.
  • Riding a hemispherical route on my motorcycle from Alaska to Argentina. Or something like that. The goal would primarily be adventure riding solo or with a close friend/family member.
