J. Alexander Greenwood is the author of two novels: Pilate's Cross and Pilate's Key. He has also written numerous short stories, including the award-winning Obsidian. He has worked as a public relations and marketing professional for more than 18 years--primarily in the broadcasting, healthcare and higher education sectors. Previously, he worked as a newspaper editor/journalist, host of a radio talk show and vice president of Kansas City Public Television. His extensive media relations experience includes crisis communications at the OU Health Sciences Center/Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma during the Murrah Federal Building terrorist attack in 1995.
He founded AlexanderG Public Relations, LLC in 2010. The firm manages the Kansas and Western Missouri territories of PRConsultants Group, which is comprised of senior-level PR and marketing representatives in every major market in the United States.
Greenwood is also a noted speaker on the topics of image management, crisis communication, marketing and general management consulting.
He resides in Kansas City, Missouri.
