Hey, I'm Joel!

I'm certified by HFI as both a usability analyst and user experience analyst, and in November 2005 I was salesman of the month at Diamond Chevrolet in North Carolina. True story.

Over the last 12+ years I've honed my user centered design skills on ecommerce sites (inlcuding lowes.com), non profits, financial services, SAAS platforms, and in real life with the tech conference I co-founded.

My forté is leading and mentoring multidisciplinary user experience teams. But I can only handle *so* much paperwork. I fit best in organizations where I can do hands-on UX work with my team.
