James Anthony Zoccoli
Actor, Writer, and Artist in Evanston, IL
I've done lots o'theatre. I've worked with kids for years. I produced a weekly radio show that morphed into a podcast. I've played teeny parts in tiny movies. I've done a couple o'commericals & TV shows. I'm featured as the voice of some pretty cool characters in a couple of really awesome video games. I emcee special events & do public address announcing. My autobiographical solo show with stories, slides & music debuted in 2010 at the Chicago Cultural Center, then traveled to the SoloNOVA Arts Festival in NYC & the Capital Fringe Festival in Washington D.C. By 2014, I was invited to perform at Steppenwolf Theatre for their Garage Repertory Series. Since then, I returned to my hometown of Evanston & now work for the city at the Robert Crown Community Center, where I get to drive a Zamboni. Also, people call me "JAZ" because the first gift my mother ever gave me was a cool nickname. Thanks, Ma!
