James Clarke PT

Physical Therapist James Clarke works at his private practice, James R. Clarke, PT, PA, in Rockville, Maryland, where he has also served as President for 25 years. Over the course of his career, James Clarke has attended a wide array of conferences, including “Patello-Femoral Pain,” “FES Functional Electrical Stimulation Workshop,” Physical Therapy of the Shoulder Part II,” “Sports Injuries,” and “Orthopedic Physical Assessment: Forearm, Wrist, and Hand.” In order to improve the administrative aspects of his practice, Mr. Clarke attended seminars on “Managing Outpatient Reimbursement,” “Ethics, Professional Conduct, and Challenges of Daily PT Practice,” and “Medicare Payment Policies for Outpatient PT.” Prior to beginning his career, James Clarke earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry magna cum laude from the University of Maryland. He further garnered a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy cum laude from Howard University. Mr. Clarke then pursued clinical training at Howard University Hospital, the Raymond Curtis Hand Center, and the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital. During his free time, Mr. Clarke enjoys reading and giving back to his community. He also enjoys spending time with his family. He contributes his time to, Project Access of Montgomery County, and various other Catholic charities. James Clarke also volunteers with the Archdiocesan Health Care Network.
