Hi, I'm James.

Former startup founder. Former graduate student and teacher at the University of Miami. Graduated cum laude from The U with a B.Sc. in Physics, and minors in Math and French.

I'm equal parts number cruncher, writer, teacher, and thrill seeker.

I enjoy working with numbers, but I have to work with people. That's why I'm entering consulting -- it gives me the opportunity to work with both sides of my brain!

What interests me personally: the Miami Hurricanes; football; basketball; soccer; horsing around with my Schnauzer; roller coasters; reading; chess; ballroom and salsa dancing; standing up while working; Iron Maiden; minimalism; Japanese interior design; medium-rare steak; the sinfully delicious mix of chocolate and peanut (butter); inappropriate uses of semicolons; and roller coasters.
