James Landers

A charitable individual, James Landers created the Landers Youth Foundation in St. Petersburg, Florida, to help disadvantaged youth in the area. Also a volunteer football and baseball coach with youth athletic organizations in and around Pinellas County, James Landers contributes hundreds of hours every year to the charter of the Landers Youth Foundation. Some of his duties have included transportation, financial assistance, and mentoring for dozens of young people since the establishment of the foundation in 2009. Youth involved with the foundation have access to such resources as free summer camps, participation scholarships, and tutoring for standardized college admission examinations.

Outside of his philanthropic occupations, James Landers has found great success over the course of his career. In his role as a Managing Partner and Distressed Asset Manager for High Point Development, he has provided long-term solutions for equity investors in 20 different projects and has enthusiastically added to the list of services provided by the real estate development company. With close to two decades of experience in real estate development and management, James Landers has created several of his own businesses. This entrepreneurial spirit has given him the opportunity to provide access for his clients to unique, high quality residences, such as The Seybold Lofts in a converted bread factory in South Tampa, Florida.

Before Landers launched his real estate development venture, he spent nearly a decade at the NCR Corporation. Prior to that, he attended the University of South Florida, ultimately obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Finance. During his undergraduate career, he belonged to the student government and the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and received several mentions on the University's Dean's List. Presaging his charitable activities in his adult life, Landers also earned community involvement awards during his time as a student.
