A young electronics geek: Wired an old Zenith TV remote control chassis to control bedroom lights on/off and dimed, and turn stereo on/off! And, I built the AR-19 stereo receiver from a Heathkit.

A CARA (Chicago Area Runners Association) competitive runner age group winner: 2004 2nd Place, 2006 3rd Place, 2007 3rd Place and 2019 3rd Place.

One film premier in 1978: Motivation-Documentary to excite high school church youth to do mission projects – Work Trekkin'.

A founding member in 1988: Grace Baptist Church – a welcoming church of women and LGBT people.

Designed production video systems in Chicago's new main Harold Washington Library Center in 1990.

One complete cable TV station engineering design in 1991: SportsChannel Chicago.

Founded video systems design company apart from equipment sales in 1992: Glenwood Systems, Inc. Creative engineering designs with sensitivity to end users' needs and best system documentation. Now pioneering off-grid/fossil-free Sound and A/V for events, and exploring sustainable production services.

IBEW Local 1220 Freelance Video Engineer - Technical Directing and Camera Directing for large venue event video screens. Such as: McCormick Place's Skyline Ballroom, Navy Pier Grand Ballroom and Chicago hotel ballrooms.

DJ: Two block long Lakeview neighborhood aid station for Chicago Marathon – 1996 - 2008 (background picture).

Down under half-marathon age group silver finisher (2nd Place): Gay Games 2002 – Sidney, Australia.

A Member: Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (Life Member), Society of Broadcast Engineers.

EEC - Edgewater Environmental Coalition (formerly Edgewater Environmental Sustainability Project) member and supporter for our Chicago neighborhood.

Artistic interest: natural textures, patterns and abstract imagery in nature photography.

Life interest: preserving our planet.
