James Woods

James began making films at a young age. Using his Dad’s camera, he became the kid who made movies after school with his friends. At the age of 15, James got his first job as a production assistant at Canberra based film production company The Production Hub.

James then went on to graduate from Griffith Film School in Brisbane in 2011. His graduate film Hummingbirds has gone on to win numerous awards and screen at festivals all over the world including the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner and the HollyShorts Film Festival at Graumann’s Chinese Theatre in LA. His second short film Touch is due to hit the festival circuit in late 2013 while his third Growing Young is currently in development.

At the age of 22, James is currently working freelance in production and as a producer in the Brisbane film industry.
