My category management and strategic sourcing experience is wide-ranging. During my recent local government career, I've led high-performing teams across construction, waste management, transport, highways, public health, and a whole host of indirect spend areas. Whilst previously working within the health service, I focussed on surgical consumables and capital equipment and before that I worked with digital and marketing spends in the private sector.

My expertise in public procurement and the regulatory framework within which projects are delivered in that sector is first-rate; I make it my business to navigate my clients seamlessly through the complexities of the public contract regulations, using the latest methods and techniques to deliver innovative outcomes that are robust to challenge. Recently, my teams have pioneered the use of Competitive with Negotiation and Innovation Partnership procedures on multi-million pound collaborative contracts that are set to transform service delivery through a truly integrative approach.

I am accustomed to dealing with a wide range of stakeholders from politicians to executive directors, can execute effectively at board level, have worked internationally, and besides English, speak Portuguese and Spanish.
