Jane Melinda Powell

I am a North Carolina native that grew up in Greensboro, got a master’s in Social Work degree at UNC Chapel Hill, then eventually found my way to Asheville. After moving here in July 2013, I already feel like WNC is home; where I am supposed to be. I’ve launched my career, planned a wedding, married my husband, and found my niche in this beautiful city. I enjoy playing around outside, exploring new interests, and anything fashion or wedding related. My husband and I are both therapists that met during graduate school. Through many of our conversations and personal experiences, I have found this work to be wonderful; yielding many rewarding experiences. It also requires lots of self care and lighthearted fun. I’m in a constant search for the best beauty and skin care products as well as relationship improvement tactics and skills. I’m looking forward to sharing a variety of both and learning more along the way.
