Jane Park was born in Seoul, Korea and immigrated to the U.S. when she was nearly three years old. An American actress, model, published author, martial artist, and speaker, her diversified TV credits include Reno911, The Cape, Rizzoli & Isles, 24, Bones, and made her presence known in FOX’s drama "Gang Related" as Korean mob boss named Su-Jin. Think of her as the lead "queen-pin" and savory-evil to the core.
Long format storytelling is where he heart beats most deeply, however. Her early films include ''Street Warrior'', ''Quarantine'', and ''Bring It On.” More recently she brought Raven to life in the film ''Scream at the Devil,'' which fleshes out the gripping realities of schizophrenia and Mina in “Heartbreak” in which lived the potentially compromising life of a hustler but instead became a top-notch pro-pool player fighting for her son's welfare. “Heartbreak” is close to her heart as it is inspired by real events with redemptive overtones.
Action with drama is her growing niche and as such, Jane relished her first action feature as fight specialist, sadistic bad-a** Tess in Boone-the Bounty Hunter. A first for Jane on screen in many ways!
Jane has been all over the world. Croatia, Germany, and Jamaica are of her favorite work and leisure destinations. Her next major feature film takes to her South Africa soon--for a lead in an action film! For more on her onscreen activities : http://www.imdb.me/janeparksmith !
Her heart’s driving desire is to serve and speak out for the voiceless and oppressed worldwide. Once a spokesperson for The Katrina Family Relocation Project and supporter of the Global Volunteer Network, Jane enjoys volunteer opportunities. She's earned a Presidential honor as a former Ms. America for her charitable community activism. A published author, her inspirational non-fiction, Rocky the Rescue, gives 90% of proceeds of each book to animal rescue and other charities.
One of her current passion projects is The E.A.T.S. Community -- a comedic new media series using "funny" to make everyone #hungryforhealthyin60seconds . Find out more at www.eatscommunity.org .
She is a certified Health Minister and wellness coach with Hallelujah Acres Lifestyle Centers.
