Janet Ibru

As Executive Manager at CASI Global Investments Corporation, Janet Ibru oversees her clients’ international real estate investments. She holds also responsibility for marketing of new opportunities to clients in the United Arab Emirates, the United States, and countries in Europe and Africa. Prior to joining CASI Global Investments Corporation, Ms. Ibru served as Business Operations Director for The Urban Passage, Inc., in Alexandria, Virginia. Ms. Ibru assisted in the launch of this nonprofit group, dedicated to rehabilitating troubled youths. She also oversaw the daily operations and treasurer and secretarial responsibilities. Janet Ibru began her career as an Assistant Consultant for the Human Resources Department at Price Waterhouse (now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers) in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, she gained valuable experience in auditing human resources departments and assisting in their restructuring. After two years with the firm, Ms. Ibru left to take a position at Aero Contractors Company of Nigeria Limited. As a Marketing Consultant, she oversaw the development and implementation of the company’s first regional airline route. After establishing the first airline route, she accepted a promotion to Marketing Manager. Ms. Ibru held responsibility for launching a second route and seeking out clients from corporate and private sectors. Janet Ibru subsequently became Commercial Manager for the company, and undertook the tasks of acquiring commercial air transport license and managing ticketing, staff, and marketing materials. She also organized and facilitated a successful 40th anniversary party for the firm. In 2001, Janet Ibru moved to the United States and used the experience she gained at Aero Contractors Company to assist Gemini Air Cargo, Inc. in Dulles, Virginia, as a Management Information Systems Consultant. Ms. Ibru advised on the use of automated flight data entry system and helped implement paperless flight data entry systems. She returned to marketing in 2002, when she joined Inphomatch, Inc. in Chantilly, Virginia. Janet Ibru joined The Urban Passage in 2003, and CASI Global Investments in 2004.
